Charity and tax awards

Baker Tilly’s Charities and Education Group has been short-listed in the annual Charity Times Awards. The awards are designed to recognise and reward excellence in the management and co-ordination of all charitable activities. After submitting an award entry which details the value-added services we offer charitable organisations, we were in the Accountancy Services category.

Our tax team is also celebrating after being short-listed for two awards:

• The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client awards in the category of Best Accounting Team in the UK & Ireland
• Accountancy Age 2010 awards in the category of Best Tax Team.

Announcement of winners will be made in October and November.
