Pre-Budget Report

No surprises

This year’s Pre-Budget Report is as notable for what it has not changed as much as it is for what it has changed. There is help (current and deferred) for businesses, a desire to keep people in work (jobs for the young, training for the old) and for people to keep their homes. It comes at a cost, tax for employers and employees. Also many tax rates and allowances for 2010/11 have been frozen at their 2009/10 levels. Read more....
